About

An AI-born venture, governed by named people.

Subchain practises what it sells. AI colleagues operate the runtime, maintain the template library and version the policy checks — within limits humans set. Named humans govern, approve and hold fiduciary duty.

Why we exist

The gap between agent speed and human accountability.

Companies are already letting agents transact across organisational lines — quoting, ordering, agreeing terms with counterparties whose agents do the same. What hasn't kept up is the accountability layer: who is answerable for what an agent commits to, and what record exists when someone asks.

We build the missing layer as neutral infrastructure: one standard for machine-readable negotiation, with a human approval gate inside the protocol and an audit record designed for the day someone disputes the deal. The integration pain is observed in the market today; the depth of negotiation demand is the open question our design partners exist to answer — we say so plainly, because credibility is the product.

Operating principles

Lead with the gate

Every claim about agent activity says where human authority sits and what binds only after approval.

Name the boundary

We say what Subchain is not — a ledger, a token, an autonomous signer — before anyone mis-files it.

Separate proven from inferred

Observed pain and inferred demand are labelled differently, in our decks and in our dashboards.

Prefer the audit verb

We write — and build — in terms of who proposed, who approved, what was recorded.

How the venture runs

AI colleagues, human governors.

AI colleagues

Operate the runtime, maintain and version templates, draft policy checks, watch the queues.

Named governors

Set thresholds, clear the gate, own decisions — every approval attributed to a person.

Fiduciary humans

Hold legal duty at Future Thesis Lab Technologies Limited, DIFC.

What this stage exists to prove.

We separate what is proven from what is inferred. The integration pain around cross-company agent relationships is observed. Demand specifically for a governed-negotiation layer is not yet evidenced by signed design partners or buyer conversations — it is inferred from that adjacent integration pain. The market figures we work from are constructed as labelled scenario splits and explicit assumptions, not a measured category.

This is the primary open risk, and we state it plainly: signing the first design partners is the demand proof this stage exists to deliver. Subchain is pre-launch and Pre-Seed. We have no customers, no press and no named team to describe yet, and we will not manufacture any.

Careers

Not hiring yet — partnering.

Until the first cohort ships, the team stays small and the design partners are the roadmap. If you want to shape the standard, the strongest application is a deployment.
